The Vagabonds

The Founding Vagabonds

Collins Paris

A twenty-two year old dude currently living in Chicago. A professional dabbler; film maker, student, photographer, web designer, writer, t-shirt designer/printer, graphic designer, and most important, traveler.

Collins is moving to Seattle as soon as he tosses his cap.

Collins finds himself lost in an ongoing race which he escapes through travel and any means of self expression.  Recently, that race has led him to the creation of FleetFlicks, a new venue designed to promote the over-looked art of the short film, as well as provide a space for up-and-coming filmmakers to showcase their art.

Vagabond Bible Work: Web Master, Senior Writer, Editor.

Sébastien Lavandon

Born in Normandy, Sebastien got the opportunity to live in Japan for some time.  It was through this experience that he came to appreciate the cultural eccentricities around the world.  Living overseas also infected him with the travel virus–that ever present need to be in another place and on the move.

Sebastien currently lives in Paris, France where he plots new plans abroad.  In his free time, he loves riding orange bicycles around the world as much as he can.  He speaks French and English, and knows enough German and Japanese to get around.

Cody McGuire

Cody is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma. While working towards his Business degree, he got the opportunity to stay a short while in Spain, then took some time traveling around Ireland, England, and Switzerland.

While traveling to different countries, Cody discovered his passion for the unknown and realized that there are no ordinary moments. An aspiring writer and film lover, Cody has a passion for the arts and different cultures.

He believes the best way to enjoy life is to find new experiences that will change his view of the world, and hopes to be traveling to faraway places sooner rather than later.

Lindsay Sena

Confined to the suburbs of Cincinnati, Ohio, Lindsay fell in love with travel at a young age when her grandparents would steal her away to Europe during the summers.

During these family vacations she spent time in England, France, Italy, Turkey, Greece and Egypt.  Although she spent six months studying in London, her favorite city remains Paris.

As a senior English and European Studies Major at the University of Notre Dame, Lindsay spends her days dreaming of exotic places and searching for travel-related ways to postpone the real world.  In her free time, she enjoys seeing films, cooking, and writing.

Beau Scott

A small-town Indiana boy who never really left home, Beau finally decided to venture out on his own when he was 26. He now works as an elementary school teacher, setting up his base of operations in London, and traveling to various destinations in Europe.

Beau has lost his passport on a flight to Spain, snuck into two countries, been deported from one, and is now currently living on the Thames River. Big changes for a boy who grew up in a cornfield.

Quentin Dechery

Quentin-Profile-Picture

The Vagabonds met Quentin in their own various ways in 2005, while they attended undergraduate studies at DePaul University.  In 2007, he traveled to Japan with Jake to study abroad, and became the channel through which the three founders would eventually come together.

He currently lives in Minnesota with his new born daughter.  The Vagabonds look forward to the day when he will be back traveling with them again.  Until then, they are content with buying him campy parenting books and baby clothes.
