5. Ankgor Wat: the namesake, and largest temple within the city-it is not without good reason that this is the most popular temple.
4. Banteay Srei: a much smaller temple and the only one not designed by a king. It is unbelievably detailed,and very well preserved.
3. Ta Prohm: a temple where nature is fighting to overthrow, beautiful trees seem almost landscaped into the architecture.
2. Bayon: a temple that consists of 180 faces all looking down at you in a rather unnerving fashion.
1. Beng Melea: 1.5 hours from town, and in the deeper part of the jungle. This was definitely my Indiana Jones experience.
